The well known yet sometimes criticized Rev. Al Sharpton got up and made a beautiful straightforward speech about the "Mother of Civl Rights," as we call her Mrs. Rosa Parks. After boycotting buses, organizing protest, and much more she was laid to rest with the upmost respect from people all around the world. Not only did Rev. Sharpton speak on Mrs. Parks life he talked about how unjust and prejudice America could be and still are. He brouight to light that just because times and technology have changes, we still are treated unfairly in many situations because of race. Jim Crows laws have been out of sight for many years but the son " James Crow Esquire Jr" is still around in plain view. He talks about how so many things that our Black leaders fought for we take for granted and a joke. Technology and some interaction has made a lot of us blind to the fact that we are still controlled, belittled, and looked down upon by many politics and big names. I fully understand where Rev. Sharpton is coming from though I was not born in this generation, I appreciate everything I have and will learn. I will continue to help fight for not Only African Americans but woman as a whole.
